Who we are

Lensari is a small independent software project based in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. This policy covers the lensari.ca website. Our Chrome extensions and downloadable software have their own privacy policies, linked below.

What lensari.ca collects

Nothing from you directly. There are no user accounts, no logins, no signup forms, no newsletter, and no tracking cookies. You can read every page on this site without giving us anything.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect minimal technical data at the infrastructure level, such as IP addresses in server logs and basic performance metrics, in order to serve and protect the site. Lensari does not control or have access to that infrastructure-level data. For details, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If we ever enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, it is cookieless and does not collect personal information. There are no third-party advertising or tracking scripts on lensari.ca.

Our products

Each Lensari product handles its own data, and each one has its own policy:

• Fine Print (Chrome extension): processes terms-of-service text locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to a server. See the Fine Print privacy policy.
• Dark Pattern Scanner (Chrome extension): scans web pages locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted to a server. See the Dark Pattern Scanner privacy policy.
• PD Tracker: runs entirely offline on your own machine. No data is sent to Lensari, ever. Reports stay on your device.

Contact

The only way to share personal information with Lensari is to email us at contact@lensari.ca. If you do, your email address and message are kept only for the purpose of responding to you. We do not add you to any list, share your email with anyone, or use it for marketing.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date below. Material changes will be summarized at the top.
